1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WebAudit ("the Service") at webaudit.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Service.

2. Description of Service

WebAudit is an automated web security analysis tool. It performs passive, read-only inspection of publicly accessible HTTP headers, TLS/SSL certificates, DNS records, and cookie attributes for a URL you supply. The Service does not perform active penetration testing, exploit code, or any form of intrusive attack.

3. Permitted Use

You may use WebAudit only to scan websites that you own or have explicit written authorisation to test. Permitted uses include:

4. Prohibited Use

You must not use WebAudit to scan websites without authorisation, facilitate attacks, harvest data, resell scan results without attribution, circumvent rate limits, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose under applicable law. Violation of this clause may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.

5. Data Privacy

WebAudit is fully stateless. We do not collect, store, or log the URLs you scan or the contents of scan results. Your IP address may be used transiently at the time of payment routing to determine your region — it is never stored, logged, or shared with third parties. PDF reports are generated on-demand and never retained server-side. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for the complete disclosure.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. WebAudit does not warrant that scan results are exhaustive, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Automated scans cannot substitute for a full manual security assessment or penetration test conducted by a qualified professional.

A high score or passing grade on WebAudit does not guarantee that a website is free from vulnerabilities. Security is a continuous process, not a point-in-time measurement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WebAudit and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on webaudit.in are the property of WebAudit and are protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission. Scan results generated by the Service for a URL you own are yours to use freely.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page to reflect changes.
