How does the World Security Index rank websites?

Accepted Answer

Each site is scanned by WebAudit's automated scanner, which checks HTTP security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options, etc.), TLS certificate validity, and DNS email security records (SPF, DMARC, DKIM, CAA, DNSSEC). A score from 0–100 is calculated by deducting points for missing or misconfigured controls, and a letter grade (A+ through F) is assigned. The index is refreshed weekly.
